No account needed on their side
Send to any email address. If they're not on FileUp, they get an authenticated email with a secure download link — the decryption key travels inside the link, so our servers can never open it.

Some things only your device can do: watching a folder, asking AI to look at the file's contents, moving files locally, calling a script. The agent runs these for you — and with several devices linked, you can pin a workflow to exactly one machine with "Runs on". AI steps run on our key, or plug in your own (Anthropic, OpenAI and friends) in Settings → AI.
